Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $30.00 to $50.00 /hour – based on individual client payments.

Requirements:

-Must possess an active License in Pennsylvania (LPC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist)

-Must be interested and passionate about supporting all types of families through a variety of reproductive or perinatal mental health concerns

-Must have initiative and be collaborative with their work – this includes other clinicians at Forward Wellness and providers in the community.

– Candidates should have a personal practice of disrupting societal oppression, antiracisim and anti-discrimination

Preference Given:

-To candidates that have completed quality, research based training in Perinatal Mental Health or Reproductive Mental Health – including PSI, Seleni Institute, Postpartum Stress Center, Forward Allies or Dinnie Goldring’s Series on Childbearing Years.

– Candidates already credentialed with Insurance Companies

– Candidates with experience in private practice settings

– Candidates willing and able to work at least one weekend day or evening per week.

About the Position:

Forward Wellness is Interested in quality, seasoned clinicians seeking 15-25 billable hours a week. This position is set to be 100% remote, utilizing telehealth. At Forward Wellness we believe self care and taking care of self autonomy is critical to the success of clinicians. This means hours are flexible. This will be discussed further in an interview.

Clients Account Coordinator

We are seeking a part-time (approximately 15 hours a week), Client Accounts Coordinator. This position is 100% remote and working hours are flexible. The primary role of the client accounts coordinator will be to log incoming payments and reconcile client accounts. This position is expected to grow as our company grows. The position comes with PTO, floating holidays, and sick leave. Medical insurance, short term disability, life insurance, and retirement are eligible at 30 hours per week.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Log all incoming insurance and client payments on spreadsheets

  • Complete necessary prior authorizations for Medical Assistance and secondary insurance claims

  • Verify benefit information for new and continuing clients of the practice, when appropriate

  • Communicate with clients with care, respect, and empathy. Work with clients on payment plans or other funding options, when appropriate

  • Support Billing Manager with assigned tasks which may include: communicating with clients by phone and email regarding their insurance and/or billing questions, communicating effectively with insurance company representatives regarding client benefit information, pending claims or denials, and researching missing and incomplete information resulting in billing errors and denials

  • Support Care Coordinator/Office Manager by cross training to allow for appropriate coverage when needed

  • Support Clinical Directors with practice or clinician insurance credentialing and other miscellaneous tasks

  • Support clinicians by responding to inquiries within a timely manner and helping them understand client accounts or billing information

  • Lean into practice culture of radical candor and building space for non-judgemental and curious communication between team members

  • Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook

Minimum Qualifications:

  •  High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years relevant experience within a medical or mental health setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter who has strong organizational skills and the ability to attend to multiple details
  • Computer proficiency: experience with google drive, spreadsheets, and insurance EHRs
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to triage prioritization of daily workflow needs
