Specialties

  • Perinatal Mental Health-  I support individuals and couples through all the twists and turns of the perinatal period, including infertility, pregnancy, abortion, pregnancy loss, infant death, preparing for and processing labor and birth, and the postpartum period (which can last for 2-3 years!)   I have lots of experience supporting people as they move through the many emotions and moods that can be a part of this time in life.
  • Wellness and Mindfulness-  I believe stress and unresolved trauma or unprocessed pain can cause physical, emotional, and relational distress and dis-ease. Using mindfulness, body awareness techniques, and drawing on my experience as a yoga teacher, I can support you in finding more peace and calm even with external stress or chaos, and help you feel more well and whole in body, mind, and spirit.
  • Parenting Support (and other applied Creativity and Creative Problem Solving)-  I believe we are all artists of our own life, and becoming a parent and other major life transitions give us opportunities to get creative and create the life we want to live.  If you feel unsupported, stuck, uninspired, or unsure how to change dynamics, relationships, or patterns in your life or in your parenting, let’s work together and find some new ways of being!

How I Can Help

Erin utilizes contextual frameworks (learned influences like culture, history, family, etc.) to help understand our experiences. Often including these perspectives can expand our awareness to include validation and compassion. Erin’s use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) offers, for many, a new and helpful way to relate to one’s inner thoughts and engage with others and the world.
