Some Fun Facts

I love baking and cooking, and I've developed an excitement for plants and gardening over the past few years.

What working with me is like

I am passionate about providing a collaborative and safe space in the therapy setting. You are the expert in your life and experiences, and it would be a privilege to go on this journey of growth and exploration with you. I bring a compassionate and psychodynamic approach to my work with individuals. I value awareness and authenticity and am drawn to find the deeper meaning of our behaviors and actions.

Quote

You do not have to have all of the answers right now. You do not have to sort it all out right here. It will absolutely feel that way, but at the same time, this is true: as the world moves around you, the ground is steady beneath your feet. -MHN

Important about me

I received my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling with a concentration in trauma-informed care from Carlow University. In 2019, I became a Licensed Professional Counselor. What I bring to therapy comes from both professional and personal experiences. I believe therapy can be a powerful way to regain a sense of wellness and balance in life. I’ve gained a strong understanding of attachment and trauma-focused perspectives from over 10 years of work in community mental health and an outpatient nonprofit therapy setting. My parenting journey has made me passionate about connecting with others and providing support.
