What working with me is like
We begin wherever you are… you might be in the process of fracturing, or maybe you are trying to make sense of the pieces of yourself that you are holding, or you might be letting the fear of breaking hold you back from your life. I am here to walk alongside you on this journey. Along the way, we can work to make sense of the broken pieces, figure out how to put them back together, and learn to accept those changes. I see growth and healing as an active process that is not linear or quick but rather a journey we must choose to embark on.
Quote
“The world breaks everyone…and afterward many are strong at the broken places.” Ernest Hemmingway
Important about me
My passion for people and our wonderful intricacies first took me abroad for many years as a way to learn about other cultures and ways of approaching life. After returning to the US, I finally found my way into an MSW program, which brought me into the world of therapy. I love helping people explore all the complex puzzle pieces that compose our inner selves. My approach is eclectic. I try to diversify my learning to bring varying perspectives into sessions.
