Some Fun Facts

When not working, I coordinate chaos at home, navigating life with my partner, two sons, and four dogs. My hobbies are ever-changing based on the present demands of life. Still, I have recently been enjoying watching The Last of Us, learning Spanish on Duolingo, and patiently waiting for the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

What working with me is like

I tend to lean more towards a connecting, person-centered approach in my work. I strongly focus on creating a supportive space where clients can feel accepted, just as they are. I also lean into humor throughout my work with individuals - and typically reference reels, memes, songs, and episodes of shows. I am comfortable honoring humor as a way of coping, and I can also support bringing it back to the feeling to promote growth through experiencing, expressing, and sharing.

Quote

I am the combination of both of these quotes:

"With these spiky cleats anything is possible!" - Spongebob

"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” - Carl Rogers

Important about me

My clinical experience includes working in a variety of settings. However, my most significant experience is working with the individual, connecting as a person to a person with empathy, compassion, and understanding.
