Some Fun Facts
I enjoy discovering new breakfast spots in Pittsburgh, especially when I can pair a delicious meal with a good book. I'm an avid traveler and have lived abroad in Ireland, which was an incredible opportunity that broadened my perspective and appreciation for different cultures. When I'm not reading or exploring new places, I'm at home spending time with my beloved cat, Maya, who keeps me entertained with her antics.
What working with me is like
In our sessions, you will find a compassionate and empathetic space where your experiences and emotions are honored. I work collaboratively with clients, using a strengths-based approach to support their healing journey. As a reproductive mental health counselor, I specialize in providing care for those navigating complex issues related to abortion and reproductive challenges. I believe that facing fears is where true bravery lies, echoing George R.R. Martin's sentiment: “Can a man still be brave if he's afraid? That is the only time a man can be brave.” My role is to guide you through this journey with empathy, support, and evidence-based interventions tailored to your needs.
Quote
"The bottom line is this: we cannot change the past. All we can do is show up for the present and work toward the future we want.” -Dr. Karen Reivich
