What working with me is like
I am pro-you in whatever way you show up--your gender identity, sexual orientation, justice system involvement, relationship style, body size and physical ability, race and ethnicity, and unique way of experiencing and interacting with the world are welcome and celebrated here! Cultural humility is deeply important to me, and I prioritize learning from folks whose lived experiences are different from mine as a white, neurodivergent, cisgender queer woman. My approach is creative, curious, conversational, and person-centered, and I love to support my clients in finding and forging a path toward healing and growth.

"In other traditions demons are expelled externally. But in my tradition demons are accepted with compassion." Machig Labdrön
Important about me
I believe that creativity, however it presents for each individual, is a pathway to interact with the deepest parts of ourselves. I began my career as a middle and high school art teacher and progressed into Art Therapy after seeing the impact that intuitive, process-based artmaking in a nurturing environment had on my students. In addition to using artmaking, I also teach practical coping and grounding skills based on DBT and mindfulness.
